The Author

Hi.
I’m Alyndra.

A research scientist’s eye, a romance writer’s heart, three cats with strong opinions, and a husband I’m still trying to convince to move somewhere I can SCUBA dive between drafts.

I’m an Amazon bestselling author of contemporary romance with some heat and a whole lot of heart. I’ve been a lifelong lover of stories and I believe everyone needs a little more happily ever after in their lives.

I’ve always been a sucker for strong heroes and smart heroines — and for the version of the genre that the genre keeps not quite writing. The FemDom dynamic treated as heroic, not comedic. BDSM scene architecture where consent is the foundation, not the speed bump. Wounded heroes whose healing is ongoing, imperfect, and real. A found family that feels earned.

The 3 C’s.

If you’ve been around the bio long enough you already know.

C
Cats

Three of them. All girls. All with opinions.

C
Coffee

Cup one is sacred. Cup three is a cry for help.

C
Chocolate

Always dark. Always earned.

The N Squad.

The three girl cats who run my writing cave. Collectively, the N Squad. Individually:

Mysterious · OpinionatedNinja

Appears at exactly the worst moment, leaves a witness statement on your keyboard.

Enthusiastic · DisruptiveNugget

Helping. Always helping. The help is never, in fact, helpful.

Regal · JudgmentalNutmeg

Watches the draft from her tower. Approves with one slow blink.

Mr. Quinn.

The husband. The deadpan foil. The dungeon master if D&D content ever runs. The person I’m patiently working on regarding the SCUBA-and-sand life. He is always Mr. Quinn — never named, never pictured, warm and dry and very tolerant of the cats.

What I won’t do.

No face, no voice, no real-life details. The pen name is the only door into this work — and it stays that way. What you get is the books, the world, and the version of me that exists between the lines. That’s already a lot of me.

What I will do.

Write the romances I want to read. Take the genre seriously. Take you, the reader, seriously. Hand you a book that means something — heat that means something, an HEA you will feel in your chest, and a found family worth staying in.

For Lovers Of Heart And Heat.
